Stories That Shape Us is a collection of voices from across the MCFOAR community: returning Midland residents who have navigated the difficult journey home, volunteers who have offered their time and encouragement, staff who walk alongside our clients, and community members who have seen firsthand what can happen when someone is given meaningful support and a genuine second chance.
These stories are about more than overcoming incarceration: they are about finding stability, rebuilding relationships, learning to trust again, and they focus on the impact of MCFOAR on Midland’s community.
And sometimes, these stories are simply about having someone say, “I believe in you, and I have faith you’ll get through this.”
